8-12 Sesame seed burger buns
2-3 pkgs ground beef
5 stalks green onion, sliced thin
1 avocado, mashed in small bowl
1-2 tbsp lemon juice
1 small pkg button mushrooms, sliced
½ white onion, sliced
- Shape the ground beef into burgers and grill on the barbeque with your favourite BBQ sauce.
- While burgers are cooking, heat a frying pan on medium heat. Add oil and toss in mushrooms and onions. Saute about 10 minutes.
- Slice the green onion into thin slices. Cut the avocado, remove the seed in the middle, then scoop the insides out into a small bowl. Mash the avocado up. Mix green onion slices and lemon juice in the bowl.
- Once burgers are ready, place them in buns. Add green onion/avocado relish and sautéed mushrooms. Serve with sweet potato fries.
